At a glance

Client: Losinger Marazzi

Sites: construction work sites, 20 to equip

Kit: 40 Droople units, deployed and reused from one site to the next

Platform: buildingOS

The challenge

Construction sites draw water for concrete, cleaning and site life, but nobody knew how much, where, or when. Meters were read by hand, leaks went unnoticed and CSR and certification reports relied on estimates.

What we installed

  • Droople flow sensors — on the site water supply, separating concrete production from life-on-site use
  • Reusable kit — 40 units moved from site to site as projects start and close

What the data showed

143 m³ in a year

The first site used 143 m³ of water over twelve months, with usage split between concrete and site life.

Irregular presence

Night and weekend draws flagged activity on site outside working hours.

Results

  • 15% water saved — more than 21 m³ on the pilot site
  • 3 leaks detected and fixed early
  • No manual meter readings — data collected automatically
  • Certification and CSR — bulletproof water data for top-site certification and reporting, plus a benchmark to quote similar sites

The takeaway

A standard, reusable kit turns every work site into a measured site, from the first day to handover.
